1. Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders need to spend money. They have some serious cash burning a hole in their pocket and some serious holes on the defense. With Khalil Mack on one side, bringing in Von Miller on a big money contract would be a truly tantalizing prospect for Raiders’ fans and a frightening one for everyone else.

The Raiders have a young and budding roster, with a high-powered offense with weapons in Latavius Murray and Amari Cooper, orchestrated by second-year quarterback Derek Carr, and a defense that has potential under coordinator Ken Norton Jr, anchored by outstanding defensive end Khalil Mack. The Raiders finished the year 7-9 in Jack Del Rio’s first season with the franchise, and they have a genuine opportunity to challenge the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC West title.

If Miller wants a pay day and still wants to join a side with a chance of challenging for divisional titles, then the Raiders could be his best bet. Moving across the AFC West division would raise plenty of anger in Denver, however, if the Raiders are happy to stump up the cash, who could blame Miller for joining an up and coming side on a large contract.
