Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins shove each other (Video)
Thunder superstar Kevin Durant and Kings center DeMarcus Cousins got into a shoving match on Monday.
The Oklahoma City Thunder and Sacramento Kings have never been afraid to get chippy, but on Monday night, their respective superstars got into a physical altercation with each other. After getting tangled up, Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins began shoving each other.
Durant also had words on the play with Quincy Acy. Cousins had his arm on Durant, which Durant proceeded to shove away and that really set off Cousins. Both players shoved each other on the court and suddenly each team was pushing the other back and it looked like a fracas was about to break out on the court.
Cousins has never been afraid to go at it against his fellow superstars in the league and just last week, he fired a basketball off Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul. It’s hard to tell whether he was more upset with Acy or Cousins, but both clearly didn’t appreciate having a hand put on them.
The Kings are desperately trying to remain in the playoff race and their playing with a lot of emotion lately. The Thunder are trying to shake off a tough loss on Saturday night, to the Golden State Warriors. Combine the history of both teams mixing it up on the court and it was bound to happen.
