NFL Combine 2016: Watch Rich Eisen run 40-yard dash (Video)

Rich Eisen ran the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine for another year straight. 

As has become a tradition at the NFL Combine, NFL Network host Rich Eisen runs the 40-yard dash to raise money for charity. While he may have trolled us in the past for not being able to take a joke, you can’t get mad at a guy who will put his reputation on the line like this in the name of raising some money for charity.

Here’s Eisen’s 40-yard dash time for this year’s combine.

What’s more is that Eisen set a new record with his 40-time this year. The host ran a 5.94, which is the fastest time he’s ever recorded. He’s still over a full second slower than the fasted 40-time at the combine this year, but let’s not start tossing stones.

Eisen’s 40-yard dash has become a staple in Indianapolis, and it’s likely going to continue long into the future. As long as he’s running for charity, we hope that Rich runs as hard and fast as he can. He’s set a new record this year, and we’ll see if he can top things next year when the combine rolls around again.
