A look at the live results from WWE RAW taking place on February 29, 2016.

The Road to WrestleMania continues on Monday night as RAW takes place from Nashville, Tennessee, and it should more than certainly be one to remember once again.

Last week we saw the shocking return of one Shane McMahon to confront his father and sister, and really, all he got for his efforts was a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania inside Hell in a Cell. Now should Shane win the match somehow, then he will get what he ultimately wants, which is full control of RAW, which makes things a little more interesting.

However, there is still on question on a lot of people’s minds, and that’s what ‘Taker really thinks of all this. Is he really just going to side with Vince McMahon just because he’s been thrust into this match, or will he give some resistance? Well, we’re gonna find this answer out Monday night because the “Deadman” himself will be in attendance to address all of this, so there will be some clarity. ‘

Whenever The Undertaker is on RAW, you know it’s something you don’t wanna miss.

In addition to this, you have to wonder how the story between Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar will be furthered as they are set for their clash in Dallas on April 3 in a Street Fight. Last week Brock once again proved his superiority, but if there’s one thing we know about Dean it’s that he always has something up his sleeve to get him back in the game.

It should be another exciting edition of RAW as we inch closer to WrestleMania, and you can follow along with the results and highlights below right after the show begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. And as always, be sure to join in with the discussion in the comments section below.

Triple H Kicks Off RAW with Promo

WWE World Heavyweight Champion and leader of The Authority in Triple H was the first man out on Monday night, ready to address his actions at the end of RAW last week when he put Roman Reigns out of commission. Hunter talked about fear of authority and how Reigns’ disrespect and challenging of authority (or The Authority) put him in the position he’s in and put him out of action, that is until Dean Ambrose came out. He trolled Triple H, and then challenged him to a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Triple H said he called the shots and would give him an answer before the end of RAW, but that Dean would have a match on Monday against Alberto Del Rio.

Divas No. 1 Contender Match: Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch

With Charlotte ringside, Sasha and Becky faced off to see who would become No. 1 Contender for the Divas Championship.

The action was back-and-forth between two of the most highly talented Divas in the division, both of them showing what they’re capable of.

However, after both women were taken out in the corner, they were both left incapacitated and with their shoulders on the mat, thus making the match a no-contest and a No. 1 Contender still not set.

Wyatt Family Promo

Bray Wyatt said words that were mildly threatening, but inconsequential while his Family stood menacingly-ish behind him.

Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz

The Miz and Dolph Ziggler had a singles match after the latter confronted the former about his overinflated sense of worth and the match was made. Ziggler got the upperhand for most of the match, but The Miz caught him off guard to roll him up and ultimately pick up the pinfall victory.

Winner: The Miz

There was then a recap of last week’s opening segment on RAW between Vince and Shane McMahon when the match at WrestleMania 32 between Shane and The Undertaker was set.

Stephanie McMahon Accepts Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award (Again)

Stephanie came out to accept the award she was dismissed from accepting by the return of Shane last week. When she couldn’t gracefully give an acceptance speech, she kind of lost it.

She then sounded off on Shane, saying that she loves him, but doesn’t respect him. With customary long-windedness, she talked about how Shane was going to lose to Undertaker and that it would be her and Triple H’s family that took over the legacy of WWE and that Taker would dismember Shane at WrestelMania and everyone should bow to her as the queen.

Lucha Dragons vs League of Nations (Sheamus, Rusev)

Sheamus and Rusev dominated the action of the match early on, beating down Sin Cara in a bad way. However, Sin Cara hit a Tornado DDT that allowed him to get Kalisto with the hot tag, where he flipped the tables on League of Nations.

However, Rusev caught Kalisto with a wicked Superkick once back in the ring that was enough to give League of Nations the win. After the match, Del Rio hit his top-rope double foot stomp on the U.S. Champ to send a message.

Winner: League of Nations

Ryback vs. Adam Rose

Ryback looked to be the aggressor early on, but Rose (who’s apparently being called the Radical Mongoose now) got a surprising amount of offense in early. However, The Big Guy snapped and just hit Rose with roughly 50 punches before landing Shell Shocked for the win and then storming off. Ho-hum.

Winner: Ryback

New Day vs. Y2AJ (Chris Jericho, AJ Styles)

As you’d expect with Jericho, Styles, Big E, and Kofi Kingston in the ring, this match was quite good with a bunch of high quality back-and-forth action. After Styles was singled out, he finally hit a Pele Kick to get the hot tag to Y2J, who wreaked havoc on Kofi.

Jericho got sent into the ring post after getting in a lot of offense, but AJ came flying in to even the odds once again as he connected with the Flying Forearm to Big E. When Kofi then went for Trouble In Paradise, Jericho caught him and locked in the Walls of Jericho for the win.

After that win, Y2AJ announced that they felt they deserved a Tag Team Championship match next week on RAW.

Winners: Y2AJ

Vince McMahon Brings Out The Undertaker, Addresses Match at Mania

Vince McMahon was out first to hype up the fact that The Undertaker would be victorious at WrestleMania 32 and talking about how he would use his greatest weapon (Taker) to get what he wants, which called out The Deadman.

However, Taker wasn’t about to play games as he said that Shane’s blood would be on Vince’s hand after what happens in the Hell in a Cell match.

The Phenom left and then Vince concluded with an odd promo about how he was going to write Shane out of his will and finished by saying that Shane would no longer be his son after this, only a son of a b****.

Jey Uso vs. Bubba Ray Dudley

In a quick match between these two, Jey and Bubba Ray exchanged quick offense until the Uso got the upper hand. That’s when D’Von started to pull out a table and wound up throwing it at a diving Jimmy Uso, distracting Jey. That allowed Bubba Ray to hit a Full Nelson Slam to get the win.

Winner: Bubba Ray Dudley

Goldust Tries Again with R-Truth

There was a quick backstage segment following the match with Goldust again approaching R-Truth about a tag team, but Truth laid into him before he ever got started by saying that he didn’t want any part of this and telling Goldie to just go away. Goldust sadly obliged.

Kevin Owens vs. Big Show

Playing off of an angle that these two ran on SmackDown, Big Show and Kevin Owens jockeyed for control in this match, but the match ultimately hinged on the Intercontinental Champ being pulled off the top turnbuckle onto the top rope between his legs. That sent Owens to the outside where he was left writhing in pain for the 10-count and a win for Big Show.

Winner: Big Show

Brie Bella vs. Naomi

This show feels like it’s been on for five hours already, so of course this is the match they put on. Naomi dominated the action early, but Brie got the advantage with the Daniel Bryan style kicks. A Tamina distraction gave Naomi the room to get back into the match, though, and lock in the submission finisher that forced the Bella to tap out.

After the match, Lana came out to taunt Brie after she had confronted her backstage prior to the match.

Winner: Naomi

Another No. 1 Contender’s match between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks was set for SmackDown this week.

Dean Ambrose vs. Alberto Del Rio

Ambrose was injured from the onset from the beating he took last week on WWE RAW and Del Rio didn’t waste any time going after him. He threw him into the barricade out on the floor three separate times before getting him back in the ring and wearing Dean down further with a DDT among other maneuvers.

However, Ambrose’s high threshold for pain showed up again as he continued to fight back, even getting the chance to take out all four members of the League of Nations with a dive to the outside.

That’s when Triple H’s music hit, though, and he sent to the League in to attack Dean all at once as he came down to the ring.

However, as Triple H started to taunt the Lunatic Fringe, Ambrose started fighting back and started to get some offense in. But The Game couldn’t be stopped, hitting The Pedigree on Ambrose before conceding to give Dean a match for the title.

Just when it seemed like it was over, though, Dean crawled to a microphone and sarcastically told Hunter, “Thanks.” This infuriated the champion, who then lost it as he beat the daylights out of Ambrose, ultimately leaving him laid out on the announce table as the show went off the air.

That’s the show for Leap Day. What did you think of this long, tiresome episode of WWE RAW? Let us know in the comments.
