5. Arizona Cardinals

Cap space: $19.252 million (according to OverTheCap)

Why he fits: Arizona is one of the best teams in the NFL, but it desperately needs to add a pass rush. Last year, Dwight Freeney came to the team in October and was still able to lead the group in sacks with eight. After reaching the NFC Championship Game and getting blown out by the Carolina panthers, general manager Steve Keim has to be looking for a serious improvement in this area.

Also, Arizona is not going to be bothered that he’s 31 years old. This is a team trying to win right now, and Williams can certainly further that cause. He’s an athlete in a division filled with them, ranging from Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick to Todd Gurley and Tavon Austin.

Why it doesn’t work: The Cardinals don’t have a ton of cap space to work with, and Williams would have to be happy as a 3-4 outside linebacker as opposed to a 4-3 defensive end. Williams has the body type to play in either venue, but being with his hand on the ground has yielded his best results in recent years.
