No 4. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans made the playoffs this year. However, the team’s quarterback, Brian Hoyer had a terrible playoff game and the team lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. After the game, the team’s owner Bob McNair said that they needed to focus on getting a new quarterback.

Maybe Cousins could be the next quarterback for the Texans.

The Texans certainly have a lot going for them in regards to reasons a passer would want to join the team. The Texans have cap room to sign a big player or two. The team also has an absolute stud receiver in DeAndre Hopkins, and Jalen Strong showed promising development last season.

Another reason that makes sense for quarterbacks to flock to the Texans is that they play in a weak division. The Texans are the only team that is truly intimidating  on defense. If Cousins wants more chances at playoff spots, flying south would be a good option.

Ultimately, the Texans will have to decide if they want to get into what is expected to be a slug-fest for the rights to Cousins. But if they do decide to join, look for them to be a legitimate option.
