Draymond Green makes impossible shot in overtime (Video)
Warriors forward Draymond Green made an impossible shot as the shot clock expired against the Hawks.
For the second straight game, the Warriors pulled away with a big win in overtime on an improbable three. This time, the Warriors won an insane three from Draymond Green and not Stephen Curry. With Curry and Andre Iguodala sitting out the game against the Hawks, Green took it upon himself to help lead the Warriors to victory.
Late in overtime, the shot clock was winding down and the Warriors couldn’t get a shot off. That’s when Green decided to heave up a prayer from deep and nailed it as the shot clock expired.
The fans at the Oracle Arena lost their minds as Green hit the big jumper. Just when it looked like another team had the Warriors on the rope on Tuesday night, the Warriors somehow came away winners thanks to yet another improbable shot.
The Hawks would score on their very next possession, but Klay Thompson would come down and seal the win with his own big jumper near the hoop. Green has always been the emotional voice of the Warriors in big moments. Against the Hawks without Curry, Green put the team on his back and carried them to victory.
