Willie Cauley-Stein ended Zach Randolph (Video)
Willie Cauley-Stein put veteran Zach Randolph on a poster.
The Sacramento Kings are trying to snap a three game losing streak against ther Western Conference opponent Memphis Grizzlies. Despite being 3-7 in their last ten games, the Kings are fighting for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference playoff race, four games back of current eighth seed Houston Rockets.
The Kings were positioned well to be in contention for a shot in the Western Conference playoffs, with Demarcus Cousins and point guard Rajan Rondo and other young talents such as Willie Cauley-Stein and Ben McLemore. Despite feeling like they have the talent to push for the playoffs, the Kings find themselves in position to miss the playoffs.
Despite the high pick and high ceiling, Willie Cauley-Stein has not had the best rookie season, averaging just six points and five rebounds, playing behind Demarcus Cousins. However, Cauley-Stein proved his potential in this dunk over Zach Randolph.
The seven foot center, despite not having a memorable rookie season, will remember this dunk for a long time.
Although the Memphis Grizzlies are in a better position for a playoff spot, Zach Randolph is currently not in a great position in relation to being put a poster and being hung in Cauley-Stein’s bedroom.
The young rookie, who has a bright future, has already met his season average against the Grizzlies with six points, but the Kings look to be headed for their fourth loss in a row, down almost twenty points at half time.
