Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema decided to take a shot at Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino’s motorcycle incident at Arkansas.
Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema being bold and brash with his statements is hardly nothing new. The coach isn’t afraid to throw shade and take shots at other coaches and programs around the nation. Sometimes it ends up with him putting his foot in his mouth and other times it ends up being downright hilarious.
During the filming of the show ‘Being Bret Bielema,’ Bielema decided to take a shot at former Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino. While on the way to the Liberty Bowl, Bielema decided to make fun of Petrino’s motorcycle incident with a female staffer that got him fired from the university, via ForTheWin.
"“Lot of Arkansas fans appreciate that we’re watching motorcycles instead of riding motorcycles,” Bielema said during the filming."
Petrino would eventually find his way back as the head coach of the Louisville Cardinals, but the incident at Arkansas in 2012, was a bad look for the program at the time.
Bielema, of course, is no stranger to taking shots and certainly couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make light of the situation. That’s just what Bielema does and he’s no stranger to making fun of others.
Sometimes it gets him in trouble and sometimes it doesn’t.
