Kawhi Leonard spins around Norris Cole and slams it home
By Taylor Smith
Kawhi Leonard is undoubtedly the NBA’s most dominant wing defender, but he’s also developed a super smooth offensive game over the years. This season he’s averaging career bests in both scoring (20.6 points per game) and has turned into the league’s second-best three-point shooter based on percentage (47.9%).
He found himself matched up with Norris Cole in the post (mouse in the house!) during Thursday night’s TNT tilt with the Pelicans. Needless to say, poor Norris didn’t provide a whole lot of resistance. Watch as Kawhi effortlessly spins right around Cole before finishing at the bucket with the nifty one-handed slam (via WhipClip):
Not to take anything away from that nice move, but, man, that was some awful defense.
