Sting will be going into the WWE Hall of Fame and Ric Flair will be the one to put him in there.

None other than Sting was recently announced as the first inductee in the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame, which is an honor that we all sort of saw coming and one that is more than deserved after all these years. With this news being out there now, everyone has been wondering who will be the one putting him in there.

Well, much like Sting going in this year, the man that will be inducting him isn’t really all that much of a shock either.

During the most recent edition of his podcast, Ric Flair announced that he will indeed be the one putting Sting into the Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend in Dallas, which is pretty much about as fitting as you can get.

Flair has a lot to do with the rise of Sting to the top of the professional wrestling mountain. Back in the late ’80s and early ’90s, Flair did everything that he could to make Sting look like the next big thing in the business, and he did that job well. Every time he was in the ring with Sting, magic basically ensued and the fans drew closer to the Stinger every single time he was out there with the Nature Boy.

From the moment that Sting was announced as the first inductee we all assumed that Flair would be doing the honors for his friend and this is indeed the case.

The 2016 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be taking place on April 2, the night before WrestleMania 32. Other inductees that have been announced are The Godfather and The Fabulous Freebirds.
