Brad Keselowski was faster than the rest and won the 2016 Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday.

The Kobalt 400 was quite the race on Sunday. It didn’t have many long stretches of green-flag racing, but it also didn’t have as many cautions on either. It was a day chalked up to weather and penalties. In many instances, it was just an ugly day out on the track.

Kurt Busch would start the Kobalt 400 with a commanding lead and was able to even overcome the fact that he had some debris on the grill of his car, but he was ultimately done in by pit road speeding early on. Busch was visibly upset as he had to make the pass through.

He would work his way back to the front of the pack, but in the meantime, it was Jimmie Johnson holding serve at the front of the pack. As the day wore on, debris would continue to blow on the track and cautions would continue to come out to stall the race.

Then the drivers of Team Penske, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano, took their turns up front in the lead, until Kyle Busch passed them by with around 40 laps remaining. However, Busch started having problems with his car and Keselowski was able to blow past him to win the Kobalt 400.
