High Value PF

Markieff Morris-Washington Wizards (5,100): There aren’t many cheap PF plays on the board tonight which is why you have to at least consider Morris despite his inconsistencies since joining Washington.  He has at least 20 fantasy points in five of his last seven games including three games with at lest 24 fantasy points in his last six.  He had a monster game against the 76ers last Monday, but has been fairly mediocre in his three games since. He’s the best play around 5K, but he’s still risky tonight against Portland who sometimes tries to go small ball which could leave Markieff with reduced minutes. ∗∗

Thomas Robinson-Brooklyn Nets (4,000): Robinson started on Saturday against the T-Wolves and went off for 18 points, 17 rebounds, five assists, four steals, six turnovers, and a very impressive 47.9 fantasy points. He played 40 minutes in that contest after playing less than 17 minutes in each of his previous eight games.  With Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young expected to return after a rest-day on Saturday, Robinson is likely to return to his limited role on the bench.  He can definitely produce when he gets the playing time, but that’s far from a guarantee unless Lopez or Young is out again tonight. If starting-∗ off the bench behind Lopez and Young-

Jason Smith-Orlando Magic (3,500): Another spot-starter who may be worth a look is Jason Smith who started last night in place of Nikola Vucevic and played 23 minutes scoring 13 points and finishing with 20.4 fantasy points. He has only been over ten fantasy points in three of his last seven games, but if he starts tonight against LA, he’ll be a good flier play. I think there’s more of a chance that he starts than Robinson since Vucevic is dealing with an actual injury while Young/BroLo were just resting. If starting-∗ If Vucevic returns-
