According to a report, the Houston Texans have strong interest in free agent running back Lamar Miller.

While teams can’t officially sign free agents until Wednesday, the NFL’s legal tampering window officially opened on Monday, and reports have been flying all around about deals in the league that are expected to be made official on Wednesday.

One player that could be signing sooner rather than later is Lamar Miller. After some exciting seasons with the Miami Dolphins, Miller is expected to be one of the first running backs to come off the board when free agency officially begins.

One team that could add Miller on Wednesday, is the Houston Texans. According to the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson, the Texans have “strong interest” in adding the running back. The Texans made a lot of news recently, when they cut running back Arian Foster.

Foster’s injuries piled up and they appear to be going in a different area at the spot. Adding Miller behind a solid offensive line could allow him to take off even more. He’s had some games where he has looked like a superstar with his ability to catch and run the ball in space.

The Texans don’t have an answer at the quarterback spot quite yet, but adding someone like Miller could go a long way in making the offense better.
