3. He’s got a big arm

Brock Osweiler has the size and frame that coaches absolutely love. At six-foot-eight, Osweiler has an imposing figure and a commanding presence that will be welcomed in Bill O’Brien’s offense. Even better, he has a strong arm and the Texans will have the big play ability at all times with Osweiler under center.

With plenty of speed at the receiver position, the chances of the Texans opening up the offense just became even greater and now O’Brien will get to do things with his offense that he might not have been able to do with the other quarterbacks that he had on the roster.

Just imagine Osweiler and DeAndre Hopkins connecting deep. It’s a thought that Texans fans will now be dreaming of every single day. To succeed at the NFL level, a quarterback has to have a strong arm and be able to connect accurately on his passes.

Osweiler has the arm and his consistency with accuracy has shown major improvement. If the Texans’ offense fits around him the way that it should, then he has a chance to become a lethal passer in the AFC.
