High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (10,700): Harden has been red hot since the All Star break playing 40+ minutes in each of his last seven games and scoring 35+ points in five of those contests.  He has over 69 fantasy points in two of his last three games and three of his last six. He is in a great matchup against the 76ers non-existent defense tonight, but there is the risk of a blowout or of fatigue causing him to take advantage of some extra time on the bench. Harden had 14 assists on Sunday night in Toronto to go with his 40 points.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he dropped 60 points tonight on the hapless Sixers, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Rockets are up 30 at halftime and he sits. He’s high-risk tonight as a result of the potential blowout, but his upside is limitless.

Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (7,400): Middleton has been eclipsed a bit by the recent rise of Antetokounmpo, but he continues to play a ton of minutes and contribute in multiple categories. He has at least 33 fantasy points in each of his last ten games and had produced 38+ in each of his last six before dropping to just 33.25 against the Bulls. Middleton will continue to be very involved in the Milwaukee attack going forward and remains a solid option tonight against Miami. ∗∗

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,000): Batum has at least 31 fantasy points in four straight contests and seems to be fitting in next to Courtney Lee in the Hornets newest lineup.  He had only 11 points in 38 minutes against the Timberwolves on Monday, but still managed 32.75 fantasy points since he had five rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals.  His across-the-board production and high-volume of minutes could lead to a monster game tonight as he faces the Pelicans who allow the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG.
