DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 9
High Value PF
Serge Ibaka-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,900): Ibaka has cored at least 11 points in ten straight games and has hauled in 6+ rebounds in seven of those ten games finishing with at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last five games. One of those productive outings came against the Clippers who he will face again tonight. In that game, Ibaka had 11 points and 11 rebounds for 30.25 fantasy points. He’s a solid pick for 25 or so fantasy points tonight with the potential for more in a favorable matchup. ∗∗∗
David Lee-Dallas Mavericks (5,100): Lee has been great in his time in Dallas, but his price is starting to rise to the level where he isn’t just a cheap flier any more. Lee has posted at least 22 fantasy points in five of his last six games and has four games during that stretch with over 30 fantasy points. He is getting solid minutes off the bench for the Mavs and approaching a double-double on almost every night. I actually don’t love the matchup for him tonight against the Pistons since the Mavs will likely need Zaza Pachulia to slow down Andre Drummond, but Lee’s production lately makes him worth considering if you have 5K to spend at PF. ∗∗
JaMychal Green-Memphis Grizzlies (4,500): Green made Monday night crazy in DFS going off for 50.5 fantasy points while playing 37 minutes for the Grizz against the Cavs. He ended that game with 16 points, ten rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. The Grizzlies probably won’t need him for quite that long tonight but with Brandan Wright and Marc Gasol already out of the year, Green should be able to build on that performance since Chris Andersen has already been ruled out and Zach Randolph is doubtful. The Celtics allow the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing PF, so look for Green to have another good game tonight even if his numbers are closer to 30 fantasy points instead of the 50 fantasy points he had on Monday.∗∗∗∗∗
Carl Landry-Philadelphia 76ers (3,200): Landry started on Sunday against the Heat and had 28.75 fantasy points on 18 points and seven boards. If Jahlil Okafor isn’t able to go tonight, Landry could be in line for another start and get to take on the most generous defense in the NBA to opposing PF as the Rockets come to town. He’s a cheap flier with upside, but if he starts he could be tonight’s JaMychal Green. If starting-∗∗∗ not starting-∗
