Lance Stephenson broke out a little dance to celebrate making a jump shot

The Memphis Grizzlies are in a bad way right now in regards to their injury situation. Mike Conley and Zach Randolph have been banged up as of late, all while Marc Gasol is out for the rest of the 2015-16 season with a foot injury. But hey, at least the Grizzlies still have Lance Stephenson who was in peak form on Friday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.

In the third quarter of the contest, Stephenson got an ample amount of separation and then knocked down a pretty wide-open jumper. No matter how open he was, though, Lance Stephenson wasn’t going to let his two points go uncelebrated as the mercurial guard proceeded to bust out a little dance after his made bucket:

Never, ever change, Lance Stephenson.

This is legitimately just the most fantastic thing he could’ve done in that moment. That shot wasn’t particularly impressive or even noteworthy in the context of the game. However, that’s not going to stop Lance Stephenson from dancing like he’s Ray Allen in the 2013 NBA Finals—not a chance.

In all seriousness, Stephenson is going to have to step up in a major way for the Grizzlies with Gasol out for the rest of the year if they’re going to make any kind of whimper in the playoffs this year. And if he doesn’t step up and help Memphis, I’m pretty sure everyone would pay all the money in the world to see him on the next season of Dancing With the Stars.
