New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) does tournaments better than any other wrestling promotion in the world. Currently, NJPW is in the midst of one of their biggest and most important tournaments of the year in the 2016 New Japan Cup, the winner of which will go to the Invasion Attack 2016 pay-per-view in April to challenge Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. That winner will be decided in the New Japan Cup Finals on Saturday.

The field of 16 wrestlers from the NJPW roster has now been whittled down to four men going into the final night of the New Japan Cup tournament where both the semifinals and finals will take place on Saturday along with a litany of other matches.
The four wrestlers remaining in the New Japan Cup are Toru Yano, Tetsuya Naito, Hirooki Goto, and Michael Elgin, all with the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and reigning atop NJPW and the 2016 New Japan Cup on their minds.
