The 2015-2016 season has not gone the way it was supposed to for the Milwaukee Bucks. Following a surprising run to the playoffs a season ago, Milwaukee was supposed to be a middle of the pack playoff team in the Eastern Conference as their young players grew more and more comfortable with expanded roles, but things did not work out that way and Milwaukee has found themselves in the lottery. Since the All-Star break though, Milwaukee has actually been going through an encouraging time as youngsters Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker and Khris Middleton have stepped up and started to look like one of the better young cores in basketball.

On Sunday night, Antetokounmpo showed the Brooklyn Nets what that looked like over the course of two plays. The first came in transition when he made a pass fake so good that it left Nets point guard Shane Larkin running in the other direction chasing a pass that never came while Antetokounmp dunked from far away.

But it wasn’t just out in transition where Giannis did damage, as he looked at the Nets trying to double team him in the post a little while later and decided he wanted to dunk anyway.

So yeah, Giannis is a star now which makes the Bucks season much easier to deal with for their fans.
