There have been some rumblings that none other than Kurt Angle could be returning to WWE Monday. Will he?

As we inch closer to WrestleMania 32, there’s a good possibility that WWE RAW from Pittsburgh on Monday night will be one you don’t wanna miss. Now that’s just rational thinking, but when you add in the fact that The Undertaker will be making an appearance to confront Shane McMahon and Vince and there’s a rumored Mick Foley appearance in the cards as well, then this becomes sure-fire must-see TV.

But is there one more big name that could be making a shocking appearance? You know, a certain Olympic gold medal winner named Kurt Angle?

In case you haven’t put the pieces of the puzzle together already, yes, Angle’s hometown is in Pittsburgh and there have been whispers all over the internet on Monday that he could be showing up at RAW, setting up a potential program for the biggest show of the year on April 3. Add in the fact that there was a report last week that Angle met with Triple H at the Arnold Classic, then you’re hopes are probably up a little bit higher.

Before you get your hopes up too high on this, the one and only Dave Meltzer was asked on Twitter whether or not an appearance Monday could be happening, and he doesn’t seem so optimistic about it.

Well that’s a bit of a downer, but remember, WWE has recently shown us that they can be good at keeping a secret with the return of Shane, something not even Mr. Meltzer saw coming.

Angle recently finished up with TNA Wrestling, the place that he has called home since 2006, so he’s available.

Will he be there on Monday? Well, we’re just going to have to tune in to find out.
