Roman Reigns returned to WWE RAW in Pittsburgh to confront and attack his WrestleMania 32 opponent, Triple H

Roman Reigns has been out of action for a few weeks now after Triple H beat him in a bad way and left him bloodied at the end of an episode of WWE RAW. After needing surgery to repair a facial injury, Reigns hadn’t been on WWE television since, but that all changed on Monday night in Pittsburgh when the No. 1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship returned.

Triple H and Dolph Ziggler were put in a match earlier in the night after the latter stood up to The Authority in defiance as Hunter and Stephanie tore down the locker room and the WWE fans during a promo. However, after Triple H successfully took out Dolph Ziggler, Roman Reigns’ music hit and, breaking the norm, he came out on the stage and down the entrance ramp. After an intense staredown, Reigns came down to the ring and went right after Hunter:

After wearing him down ever further after Triple H had just competed in a match, Roman returned the favor of how Hunter put him out of action by attacking the WWE World champ on the table:

Triple H was left reeling in a major way, but Roman Reigns stayed in pursuit as The Game was busted open and the brawl spilled backstage. The big spot backstage was Roman hitting Triple H with a full plastic trash can and a flat-screen TV, because sure, why not:

He finally got calmed down by his cousins, The Usos, because family members with face paints and no characters are always the best chill pills.

WWE is so very, very screwed heading into WrestleMania. If someone even mildly popular was doing this to a heel, the crowd would be going nuts. Instead, Roman Reigns looks like a doofus as the crowd remained silent or booing him throughout this entire segment. Just yikes. All of the yikes.

Save us, Crossfit Jesus—or someone not named Roman, please.
