After his trade from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Tennessee Titans, running back DeMarco Murray is addressing his time with his former team.

It was no secret toward the end of the 2015 regular season that running back DeMarco Murray was not happy being a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. After signing with the team the offseason before for a five year deal, the relationship between Frank and Claire Underwood on House of Cards seemed to be better than what was going on between Murray and the Eagles.

DeMarco Murray finally got a chance to get out of the City of Brotherly Love when the Eagles traded him to the Tennessee Titans, along with the two teams trading draft picks. Now, Murray is addressing his one season with the Eagles and saying that the issues between the two sides were his fault:

"“I look in the mirror and don’t blame anyone. I take full responsibility of it. I just try to move on and work hard and try to make the best of the opportunity I’m given.”“They have a great team there, great owner in Jeffrey [Lurie]. Howie [Roseman] and Jeff, they do a great job. They know what they want in the team, personnel wise…it was just a relationship that didn’t work, for whatever reason.”"

You will notice that DeMarco Murray didn’t mention his now former head coach (and the former head coach of the Eagles all together), Chip Kelly. It’s thought that the relationship between those two was the majority of the problem during Murray’s single season.

After rushing for over 1,800 yards in 2014 for the Dallas Cowboys, Murray stayed in the NFC East and signed his massive deal with Philadelphia. Murray’s numbers plummeted when he went up north, rushing for 702 yards and seeing his touchdown numbers go from 13 to six the next season.

In Tennessee, he is expected to give the Titans’ offense another option to help take some of the pressure off quarterback Marcus Mariota and hopefully turn things around after having the worst record in the league last season.
