FanDuel NBA Picks For March 16

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.

Here are my FanDuel picks for March 16:

Next: Point Guard Plays

Feb 1, 2016; New Orleans, LA, USA; New Orleans Pelicans guard Toney Douglas (16) is fouled by Memphis Grizzlies guard Mario Chalmers (6) while competing for a loose ball as forward Anthony Davis (background) reacts during the second half at the Smoothie King Center. The Grizzlies defeated the Pelicans 110-95. Mandatory Credit: Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Toney Douglas – Douglas has been a pretty solid play as long as Norris Cole has been out. He is considered questionable for this contest. Douglas is a good price and should continue to be a good value as long as Cole remains sidelined.

PG – Patrick Beverley – Beverley has been playing very well for the Rockets lately and seems to be gaining some consistency. He does have a bit of a tough match-up but he seems to rise to the level of his competition in most instances. I feel good about him in this contest.

Next: Shooting Guard Plays

Mar 7, 2016; Oakland, CA, USA; Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson (11) chases down the ball ahead of Orlando Magic guard Brandon Jennings (55) during the fourth quarter at Oracle Arena. Shooting Guards:

SG – Klay Thompson – Thompson is coming off of a bit of  down game, but is still a preferred play for me in this contest. Overall, he is playing well and should provide a solid value for us and always has the upside to drop a monster fantasy night.

SG – Zach LaVine – Lavine is still swapping out starts with the less effective Tayshaun Prince. I don’t understand it, but LaVine’s game still seems to be developing and he is having a solid second half of the season. Sadly in FanDuel we don’t get extra points for dunks, but LaVine should still be a solid play for us in this contest.

Next: Small Forward Plays

Mar 12, 2016; Dallas, TX, USA; Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons (25) speaks with an official during the second half against the Indiana Pacers at American Airlines Center. Mandatory Credit: Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Small Forwards:

SF – Chandler Parsons – Parsons is finally playing at the level that many of us fantasy gurus expected of him earlier this season. I realize it can take a while for some guys to recover from injuries, but nevertheless I am glad he is back in the saddle and feeling it again. Needless to say I am all in and think he will be a great play for this contest.

SF – Evan Turner – Turner has been seeing some increased minutes and opportunities with Jae Crowder out. He is coning off of back to back 30 plus point fantasy games and is worth a look in regular season fantasy leagues down the stretch as well.

Next: Power Forward And Center Plays

Mar 14, 2016; Oakland, CA, USA; New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis (23) dribbles the ball as Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) defends in the first quarter at Oracle Arena. Mandatory Credit: Neville E. Guard-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Anthony Davis – Here is one of our heavy hitters. He is playing very well as usual and should be a tremendous play for us in this contest. I think Davis is one of the better big men in the game right now and I love to own him as much as I love to watch him play.

PF – Gorgui Dieng – I just picked up Dieng in one of my leagues the other day and I have been very happy with the results. He is playing well and dropping plenty of fantasy points for his owners. Dieng has been up and down, but I feel it has not been his fault and he is proving very capable of putting up fantasy points whenever given minutes.

Center:

C – Dwight Howard – Howard is not one of my favorite players, but it is hard to deny he is playing very well right now. He was one of the more consistent centers available in his price range and I like his match-up. He should do well in this contest and hopefully will be the reason we get in the money.
