In a league full of incredible athletes, Washington Wizards’ star John Wall has his name right at the top of the list. With his incredible speed and leaping ability, Wall typically ends up on the highlight reels thanks to some incredible pass or layup that left a defender with no chance of success. On Wednesday night he did it on the other end of the floor though, chasing down Chicago Bulls star Jimmy Butler for a very impressive rejection.

The most impressive part of the play is easily how long Wall hangs in the air to time things perfectly. Butler is a very athletic, long and tough player himself making a block like this very hard. But Wall would not be denied in a game that is very important for the Wizards’ slim playoff hopes, and he was able to come through for Washington.

Now if the rest of his team would consistently help him.
