Now that March is finally here, it is time for almost all college prospects’ postseasons. Whether it is in the NIT or the NCAA tournament, just about all non-international draft prospects will be playing games in the month of March. With all the games in both the tournament and the NIT on national television, there will be plenty of opportunities for fans to see the next class of NBA players. The players will be facing some of the best competition they’ve seen all season, making the postseason a huge event for NBA scouts as well.

With March Madness now upon us, this is the next installment of the weekly 2016 NBA Mock Draft brought to you by Chris Stone and Austin Peters of Upside & Motor, part of the Hardwood Paroxysm Basketball Network.

The exposure for the likes of Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram can hurt or help their stock tremendously. The race for the number one spot is still extremely close, with both players heading for a postseason berth, albeit in different settings. If Ingram can lead Duke on a deep run to defend their title in the NCAA tournament, it may give him an edge in the eyes of scouts. If Simmons wins the NIT by himself for LSU, he could grab a tighter hold of that number one spot. Along with that, plenty will continue to change throughout the rest of the first round as NBA teams jostle back and forth in standings.

Draft order positions updated as of Monday morning.
