One of the scariest things in basketball has to be standing in the lane as Russell Westbrook attacks the rim. With the incredible ferocity that Westbrook uses as he flies towards points, getting in his way is the equivalent of jumping in front of a train filled with rabid animals. Friday night Westbrook and his Oklahoma City Thunder took on the Philadelphia 76ers and like he does so often, Westbrook went flying down the lane. As he got near the rim Sixers youngster Jerami Grant decided to play hero and try to stop Westbrook.

It did not end well for him. At all.

Yeah, Russ threw down that vicious of a dunk while being basically punched in the face. That is pretty impressive. It also should be pretty scary for the Sixers who now have to deal with an angry Russell Westbrook for the rest of the night. That isn’t ever a good thing.
