Omer Asik is trending up right now and the sky could be the limit for him.

If you are in a regular season fantasy basketball league right now is the time that you need to stop and go see if Omer Asik is sitting around on your league’s waiver wire. With Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson now out for the Pelicans, the sky should be the limit for the young man and he should be able to gobble up all the minutes that he can handle.

Asik posted a double-double and then had an eight point and nine rebound night. He may remain a bit streaky, but I think that overall Asik will be a solid add for teams in all leagues seeking after a title run in head to head leagues. Asik will also be a decent value play for daily fantasy leagues as well over the next few days. There actually should be great values all around on the Pelicans until the averages start to catch up.

Another guy from the Pelicans that I would probably be looking to add depending upon the size of my league is Tim Frazier. Frazier as long as he stays with the club should have enough minutes to remain roster worthy and be a great asset to most any fantasy team, but more specifically for leagues with 12 teams and over. He is seeing right around 25-27 minutes a night and with those kind of minutes  he should be a great value is daily fantasy leagues as well.

Sean Kilpatrick should also be a guy that you would want to add in leagues with 12 teams and over. He is starting to see a healthy chunk of minutes and I think he will be a very valuable player for teams heading down the stretch. It seems that the Nets are interested in him and are really kicking the tires to see if he is someone who they want to bring back for next season.

To round out this list of guys who should probably be on a fantasy team in your league I would also add Josh Richardson from the Miami Heat. He is not a must add and I would reserve him for just 12 team and larger leagues, but He is certainly playing well enough for a look. Just like everyone else on this list he is making for an excellent play in FanDuel leagues. I would certainly use him there especially if Dwyane Wade sits out.
