High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (9,000): Like with all the T-Wolves, fatigue could be a factor for Towns after playing a huge workload last night in double-overtime.  He ended up with 44.5 fantasy points in his 48 minutes on 27 points, ten rebounds, and five assists.  HE has at least 40 fantasy points in four straight contests and has double-doubled in each of his last seven contests.  Towns is in a tough matchup against the Stifle Tower as the Jazz come to town, but he’s been good enough lately that you can definitely spend big on him tonight.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (8,000): Drummond had another 40-fantasy-point game last night with 18 points and 14 boards against the Hornets.  He is a key part of the Pistons’ push to the playoffs and has at least 35 fantasy points in seven of his last ten contests.  While he definitely always has the potential for a monster 20-20 game, he almost always give you enough not to be a total bust making him a solid play in most matchups.  Tonight, he’ll take on the Hawks and Al Horford who he posted 18 points and 18 boards against earlier this month, 25 points and 12 rebounds against in December and 18 points and 19 rebounds against at the start of the season.  He’s a low-risk, high-upside play for tonight with the only concern being the he’s on the second night of a back-to-back.

Robin Lopez-New York Knicks (6,000): Lopez is still very hit-or-miss but his hits have been excellent.  He has at least 37 fantasy points in four of his last eight contests, but has been held under 20 fantasy points in two of his last five as well.  His boom or bust doesn’t seem to have much of a pattern, so it’s hard to say how much to expect from him tonight. Lopez will take on the Cavs who have given up some big games including allowing Robin’s brother Brook to score 22 points to go with seven rebounds and five assists on Thursday. Lopez is a high-risk play but there is definitely elite-level upside.
