High Value SF

Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (5,700): Fournier’s numbers have been a bit down over his last six games, but he should be in a place to have a big night tonight against the Bulls even though Jimmy Butler will probably draw the assignment to slow him down.  Fournier will have to pick up the slack left in the Orlando offense due to the injury to Victor Oladipo which is expected to sideline him for tonight’s contest.  Fournier usually logs heavy minutes and is coming off a solid game against the Heat in which he had 20 points and seven rebounds on his way to 29.4 fantasy points. If he gets similar numbers tonight, he’ll be a good value at under 6K.

Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,500): A more steady option in the 5K range is Marcus Morris although Morris doesn’t quite have the upside of Fournier. Morris has produced at least 25 fantasy points in four of his last five games and has scored at least 14 points in five of his last six.  He is very involved in the Detroit offense and is a solid option once again tonight for the surging Pistons who are trying to fight their way into tin playoffs.

Hollis Thompson-Philadelphia 76ers (4,400): The Sixers rotation is a little tricky to predict with Robert Covington back in the mix now after a concussion. Thompson has been getting a ton of time while Covington was out, but most people expect him to stay at about 30 minutes a night the rest of the season.  He has performed well in his expanded role with at least 21 fantasy points in seven of his last nine contests.  In his last ten games, he has scored in double-digits nine times and is averaging 13.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

Thabo Sefolosha-Atlanta Hawks (4,200): Sefolosha continued his recent production last night against the Bucks posting 24.9 fantasy points on ten points and seven boards giving him at least 21 fantasy points in seven of his last eight contests.  Sefolosha played 24 minutes last night and will again be a bit part of the Hawks rotation as they face Marcus Morris and the Pistons tonight in Detroit.

Mario Hezonja-Orlando Magic (3,500): Hezonja got the start in place of Victor Oladipo last night against Miami, and he should start again tonight against the Bulls if Oladipo remains out. He payed a massive 37 minutes against Miami but only scraped together 15.1 fantasy points on eight points and three rebounds.  He has the potential to go off as he showcased earlier this season, and in his expanded time he’s an intriguing flier.  He definitely isn’t a sure-thing though since even in all those minutes his production was limited last night. With Oladipo-No Oladipo-

Kyle Anderson-San Antonio Spurs (3,500): The Spurs reserves will again get plenty of run tonight in OKC which should allow Anderson to start his second game in a row.  HE played 24 minutes last nigh and had 13.6 fantasy points on six points and three rebounds.  HE’s sure to be a popular cheap choice tonight, but I still view him as high-risk play since he hasn’t gone off even when he has gotten extended time.
