Though four-year veteran center Festus Ezeli hasn’t played a ton of games in the NBA, here are five teams that could have interest in him in free agency.

Since being the 30th overall draft pick by the Golden State Warriors out of Vanderbilt University in the 2012 NBA Draft, center Festus Ezeli has been a key rotational player for the Warriors during their climb to national prominence in recent years.

Golden State thought highly of Ezeli after his four years of great play for former Commodores head coach Kevin Stallings at Vanderbilt, now the presumed head coach of the Pittsburgh Panthers in the ACC.

Though Ezeli has only appeared in 164 NBA games since fall of 2012, starting only 59 of them for the Warriors, Ezeli will enter NBA free agency with high interest from some teams in the league. While injuries and frankly an incredibly deep Golden State rotation have kept Ezeli from achieving a more prominent role with his current club, perhaps he’ll get a better opportunity than he has now once he hits free agency this summer.

While Ezeli has only averaged 4.2 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, and 1.0 blocks per game in his short NBA career, he has proven to be a respectable rotational piece for Golden State with a career 102 defensive rating and a decent 107 offensive rating per 100 possessions.

Leg injuries are often a big man’s kryptonite in the NBA, but Ezeli is only 26 years old with not a lot of wear and tear as a deep reserve for Golden State. He still has plenty of high level basketball left in the tank and here are the five teams that should consider signing Ezeli this summer in NBA free agency.
