These are the five reasons the Miami Dolphins should sign free agent running back Arian Foster.

As the 2016 NFL Free Agency period continues, there are more and more surprises that pop up each day. In many cases, teams have to go with their second or third option at a variety of positions because players decide they want to go where the grass is greener (or the paychecks are fatter).

In the case of the Miami Dolphins, the running back position has become priority numbers one, two and three. In part due to the departure of Lamar Miller (who left his hometown for a big payday with the Houston Texans) and also thanks to matching offer sheets from other teams, the Dolphins are now searching for someone to come in and play running back.

The team is exploring all options, with the latest being Arian Foster, who is scheduled to visit with the team on Tuesday. While it may be a head scratcher considering Foster’s injuries recently, it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world for the Dolhpins to sign him. Here are the five reasons why the Miami Dolphins should go out and sign Arian Foster to a contract.
