Ish Smith improbably blocks Marvin Williams (Video)
Six-foot-zero point guard Ish Smith went up and blocked six-foot-nine Marvin Williams at the rim.
Something improbable happened on Tuesday night, during the Philadelphia 76ers’ home contest against the Charlotte Hornets. Ish Smith is one of the smaller point guards in the NBA and isn’t really known for shot-blocking ability at just six-foot-zero. That’s why it was even more incredible when he went up and blocked the much taller Marvin Williams.
As Williams took a feed and looked to have a great chance at a big dunk, Smith decided to go up and try and challenge him, which most probably thought wouldn’t end up well.
Instead, Smith went up and made one of the best blocks of the season and showed that even the little guys can get up and make huge blocks.

Even though the 76ers don’t even have double-digit wins and are going to finish with the worst record in the NBA yet again, it’s great to see players on their team still acting like professionals and continuing to give it their all on absolutely every single play. Smith plays with a lot of heart and leads by example. Going up and blocking Williams was a great example for the younger players.
