Greg Monroe swats Tyson Chandler with left hand (Video)

Milwaukee Bucks center Greg Monroe made a monster swat with his left hand on Phoenix Suns center Tyson Chandler.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns were two teams with a lot of expectations for themselves heading into the NBA regular season. Instead, their seasons haven’t gone they that they wanted and they are looking to their young talent to carry the next wave of the future.

They each had one big free agent acquisitions and for the Bucks it was Greg Monroe, while Tyson Chandler was the big signing for the Suns. On Wednesday night, the two took each other on at the hoop and it was Monroe that got the best of the battle between the two big men.

As Chandler went up for the slam, Monroe went straight up and swatted his shot away with the left hand.

For Monroe, it was a physical night the entire night for him, as he was tussling with the Suns’ centers down low and was getting worked up over not getting some of the calls from the officiating crew.

Rather than getting upset, he harnessed that energy into his play and he made some big ones like the Chandler block.
