With the Arizona Cardinals addressing many needs in free agency, here’s an updated seven-round mock draft for the team.

With the calendar turning to April, the draft buzz is greater than ever leading into the 2016 NFL Draft. With the draft drawing near, teams now have a better idea of which areas that they are going to address at the draft. After making some big moves during free agency, the Arizona Cardinals have a more clear direction which way they want to go in the draft.

The biggest need the Cardinals had coming into the off-season was acquiring someone who can rush the quarterback. At first, it looked like the Cardinals had struck out on every free agent that was available, but then general manager Steve Keim made a huge move by sending guard Jonathan Cooper and a second-round pick to the New England Patriots for Chandler Jones.

That means the Cardinals now have one less high pick in the draft, but it also means they have targeted one of their needs with a proven talent and can now do whatever they want with the No. 29th overall pick in the draft. That could very well mean trading back into the second round and acquiring more picks or taking the best player available with the pick.

Whatever the case may be, Keim always plays it close to the vest and he’s not afraid to make a pick that no one sees coming. In fact, those picks that others haven’t expected have turned out to be some of his best picks yet and have helped shape the team into a Super Bowl contender.

With the Cardinals heading into the 2016 NFL Draft with a full head of steam and a deep roster, these are the picks they should consider.
