After the first few years of his career with the Atlanta Hawks it was easy to call Marvin Williams a bust. Considering Williams was drafted at number two overall in a draft that featured Chris Paul, Deron Williams and Danny Granger, Williams being solid but unspectacular frustrated many Hawks fans. Eventually Williams left and ended up in Charlotte where he has developed into one of the better stretch-fours in the league, mixing in a high basketball IQ with great shooting and good rim protection for a Hornets team that has surprised a lot of people this season.

Part of the difference for Williams was adding strength, something he did this past summer to help really take his game to the next level. On Friday night that strength was on full display as he attacked the rim hard against the Philadelphia 76ers and crushed a dunk down on a poor defender.

That is a really, really nice dunk.  So nice that it caused teammate Jeremy Lin to swim on the sidelines.
