As part of the April Fools Day festivities, Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser got in on the action
This Friday is April Fools Day, which of course means that you’re going to see a myriad of pranks from all over the place, especially on television. Well, one of ESPN’s staple shows and their hosts, Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser got in on the action Friday.
During the latest airing of the popular debate show, the subject of the Chicago Cubs was brought up, which isn’t all that surprising given the fact that the MLB season starts this weekend. Well, as we all know by now, Wilbon is quite the avid Cubs supporter and he can get testy from time to time.
Well, on Friday, Kornheiser was really pushing in regards to bashing the Cubs, and at one point, Wilbon just decided that he had enough and stormed right off the set.
Were a lot of people fooled by this? Maybe, maybe not, but you really have to give the two credit because they did a pretty good job of trying to sell it to the people. So, there might have been a few out there watching ESPN who may have fallen for the trick.
