Sacramento Kings

Anderson just so happened to be born in Sacramento, Calif. Anderson also mentioned recently how much it would mean to him to play at his home town. He also could be a pretty solid fit.

The first thought would be that the Kings already have DeMarcus Cousins, Kosta Koufos, and Willie Cauley-Stein, how would it play out with another big man?

The thing about these three is that Cousins is really the only one who can step away from the basket and score. Anderson is a guy that is a completely different player than Koufos and Cauley-Stein, giving the lineup versatility.

Cauley-Stein can guard smaller players and fills a center role if they want Cousins to step into the mid game and have Anderson float around the three at times on offense to create spacing. It then leaves Cousins and Anderson in similar situations to what they normally would be.

This probably comes back to the point of whether or not the money is a big thing. The Kings could be very active this offseason and may look for a hometown discount. They may even want to trade Koufos, especially if Anderson comes at a price that may force them out on another piece. The stars could definitely align though, and we could see Anderson in purple in next year.
