Here’s all the information you need to watch the MLB Opening Day matchup between the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers.

The AL West should be very tough this season. While the Texas Rangers won the division crown in 2015, that is far from a guarantee in 2016. One of the teams that will be looking to dethrone the Rangers are the Seattle Mariners. The two arch rivals will square off against each other on Opening Day.

Date: Monday, April 4
Start Time: 4:05 p.m. ET
Location: Arlington, Texas
Stadium: Globe Life Park in Arlington
TV Info: ESPN (national feed); Fox Sports Southwest (Rangers feed); ROOT Sports (Mariners feed)
Live Stream: MLB.tv; WatchESPN App
Radio: 710 ESPN (Mariners feed); 105.3 FM The Fan (Rangers feed)

Seattle will send ace Felix Hernandez to the mound as their Opening Day starter. Hernandez had a down year considering the high standards that the 2010 AL Cy Young has set for himself. While he finished with an 18-9 record, his 3.53 ERA in 2015 was his highest since 2007. Hernandez also saw his strikeout rate and WHIP take noticeable declines. Expect King Felix to come back strong.

Texas will counter King Felix by sending their ace Cole Hamels to the mound. The Rangers traded for Hamels midseason. He finished with a 3.66 ERA in 12 games for the Rangers. An ERA+ of 116 shows that Hamels did quite well pitching in the most hitter-friendly ballpark in the American League.
