Highlights and results from Kalisto vs Ryback at WWE WrestleMania 32

Kalisto and Ryback have been going back-and-forth for some time now with Ryback trying to prove that a Big Guy is always going to be superior over a little guy. With the United States Championship on the line at WrestleMania 32, that would be decided in Dallas.

Ryback showed off his power early on, but Kalisto started getting his high-flying work going with a bulldog off the top rope. He then hit an impressive double-knee to the chest of Ryback off of the apron:

However, The Big Guy, wouldn’t be held down for long at all as he popped right back up and brutally began flinging the smaller Kalisto into the barricade. He continued to dominate, toying with the champ as he threw him back into the ring to continue the beating:

Kalisto remained resilient, though, and wouldn’t succumb to a pin so quickly. However, The Big Guy kept the assault coming. Even when the US champ would try and use his speed to get away or get some offense in, Ryback seemed to have a powerful answer:

Ryback then tried to go for a massive Superplex where he showed off his power holding Kalisto up for several seconds. The display of strength backfired, though, as Kalisto was able to counter into a crossbody.

The champ then got going again soon after as he hit a massive Hurricanrana DDT that stunned The Big Guy:

As Ryback tried to fight back soon after to regain control, though, Kalisto caught him with a drop-toe hold and then hit the Salida del Sol on The Big Guy:

That was enough for the three-count and the win for Kalisto to retain the United States Championship.
