Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is ready to sign a new deal with the Italian club according to his agent.
Sir Alex Ferguson is one of, if not the, best soccer managers of all time. However, like all good managers, he didn’t get every decision right. One such decision was allowing midfield maestro Paul Pogba to leave Manchester United and join Juventus on a free transfer. That move has proved costly for United, as Pogba has gone on to establish himself as one of the leading footballers in the world, and he is now ready to stay with the Italian giants, according to his agent.
Speaking to Italian media, Mino Raiola stated:
"“Nothing has changed for Paul compared to a year ago. Juventus and Paul are on the same page here. Juve won’t accept anything less than 100m euros for his sale and I agree with that, though he is more than happy to remain with the Bianconeri. We are even ready to sign a new contract.”"
Pogba is set to become one of the very best players of his generation. His game is complete; great physical ability, a lovely touch, wonderful vision and even an eye for goal. Juventus are very lucky to have him, having won three Serie A titles since he joined to Turin club, and it looks as though fans will be able to enjoy watching his skill in the famous black and white for years to come.
Pogba had fueled rumors of a possible move to Manchester City after stating that playing under Pep Guardiola would elevate him to a truly world class level and wholly complete him as a player. However, these recent comments from his agent seem to dismiss such rumors, and illustrate a desire to stay in Italy.
