Here’s all the information you need to watch the MLB Opening Day matchup between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Cincinnati Reds.

The Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds are squaring off on Opening Day in what is a showdown between two teams that are rebuilding. Neither the Phillies or the Reds are expected to contend in 2016. In fact, one could argue that they are the two most likely teams in the majors to lose 100 games in 2016. Should be an interesting matchup, to say the least.

Jeremy Hellickson will be the Phillies Opening Day starting pitcher in 2016. The 28 year old right hander had a 4.62 ERA with the Diamondbacks last season with a 9-12 record in 27 games. In 146 innings, Hellickson struck out 121 and walked 43. The Phillies traded for him in the offseason.

Raisel Iglesias will be the Reds Opening Day starting pitcher in 2016. The second year starting pitcher had a solid rookie season with a 4.15 ERA in 18 games (16 starts). He had a 3-7 record with 104 strikeouts in 95.1 innings while walking 28 batters and allowing 11 home runs.
