WWE Rumors: Undertaker retiring following WrestleMania 32?

Was WrestleMania 32 the last we will ever see of The Undertaker?

Sunday night at WrestleMania 32, if there was one match that some will argue stole the show, it was the bout inside Hell in a Cell between The Undertaker and Shane McMahon. Of course, most will remember this match for the insane bump that Shane took, but people might end up remembering this match for a completely different reason down the line.

Was that the last match The Undertaker will ever have?

According to a report from The Wrestling Observer, Undertaker was telling people backstage after the match that this was indeed his final performance, and that also is the reasoning as to why he left his gloves in the ring, which would make a ton of sense.

Now, though, if there is something that everyone has to remember here, it’s that we do this every single year. Seemingly whenever The Undertaker wrestles, be it at WrestleMania or not, there’s going to be the rumors making the rounds that it was his last rodeo. It definitely will happen some time, as he is at the end of the line, but everyone always wants to know when.

The thing is, however, is that maybe Mark Callaway, the man behind The Undertaker persona, doesn’t want anyone to know when he’ll be hanging up the boots for good. He’s an old-school guy, and he might just want to go out on his own terms. And for all we know, those terms were inside Hell in a Cell on Sunday with someone that he’s been familiar with for most of his career in Shane McMahon.
