The Browns are in need of defensive depth in the linebacker room. Jared Norris fills that need perfectly.

Norris is a true technician of the game. His footwork and tackling technique are as solid as it can be for a player coming out of college. Norris has excellent vision and he can fill gaps that other players just do not see. Additionally, Norris has elite natural instincts that will allow him to make plays that others players only wish they could duplicate.

However, Norris will struggle with the physical aspect of playing in the NFL. Norris was never the most athletic guy on the field when he was in college. If he wants to crack the starting roster, then he will need to focus on improving his all around measurables.

In college, players can get away with not being an elite athlete, but that does not work in the NFL.

Overall, Norris may not have the most potential as a player, but he has solid upside and with some work should be able to make a difference in the NFL.
