A full 7-round mock draft for each pick made by the Dallas Cowboys in the upcoming NFL Draft

The day is almost here, and the anticipation is mounting. The day where each and every NFL team has a shot to go and grab some of the best young talent about to enter the NFL.

We are just days away now from the most anticipated and discussed event of the entire offseason, as the 2016 NFL Draft begins on April 28th. No other sport has a draft that receives this much coverage, not only during the event, but every day from the moment the season ends, until it finally happens.

One of the most intriguing parts of the entire process is imagining who it is your favorite team will draft and how they will help fill a hole on the roster.

Today, we look at the Dallas Cowboys draft and try to predict what will happen for America’s Team when all 7-rounds are completed.

The ‘Boys kick things off with the fourth overall selection and can go a number of different ways. There’s the need for a quarterback-in-waiting, as their starter, Tony Romo, will be 36-years old this season. There’s also the need for some help in the defensive backfield as well as defensive end.

Maybe the biggest need for the team though is running back as their team currently consists of a 29-year old Darren McFadden, Alfred Morris and Lance Dunbar. McFadden is injury prone, Morris is coming off his worst NFL season and Dunbar may not be ready to start the season healthy after suffering a bad knee injury to end the year.

With all that in mind, let’s take a look at what direction the Dallas Cowboys could go when the draft dust settles.
