As the NBA regular season starts to roll to its end, the majority of teams are already planning fishing trips after not making the NBA Playoffs. While serious season eulogies are going on over at Hardwood Paroxysm, we here at The Friendly Bounce are taking a look at the important part of each team’s season as we bid them farewell, the fun stuff. So enjoy and feel free to add your entries to each category in the comments below and follow along with the entire series over the next two weeks.

The Brooklyn Nets were not very good. This is not groundbreaking news or anything but it bears mentioning in this instance. Considering the Nets were not very good it was easy to completely ignore them, especially since there were not many exciting young players on the roster. That leads to a very sad season recap here.

Most Vineable Player:

Donnie Kolakowski (@Donniebuckets): Thaddeus Young.

Ryne Prinz (@Ryneprinz): As great as Brook Lopez has been this year, his game doesn’t produce many highlights. Thad’s athleticism provides at least a fantastic block or dunk a game.

Matt Cianfrone (@Matt_Cianfrone): Donald Sloan. Mostly because I only remember one Nets’ Vine this year and it Sloan crossing up Matthew Dellavedova.

10 Word Recaps:

The Brooklyn Nets continue to be stuck in basketball purgatory. (Donnie)

Brook Lopez was healthy…that’s all the positive I got. (Donnie)

I do not think I watched the Nets at all. (Ryne)

Thanks Comcast for making it impossible to watch the Nets. (Matt)

82 games played and basically none of them mattered. (Matt)

Highlights:

Thad Young was not getting dunked on by Ersan Ilyasova.

(Vine via Anthony Puccio)

Thad Young was really mean to Ersan this year:

(Vine via Devin Kharpertian)

Donald Sloan rocks Delly to sleep:

(Vine via the Nets)

More like Rondae Hollis-Jamerson

(Vine also via the Nets)

Crying Jordan:

Other stuff:

Brook Lopez went WWE on the Raptor.

Brook and his brother also got into the comic book business.
