Giancarlo Stanton is already crushing baseballs as the 2016 MLB season is just beginning.

The Miami Marlins have a lot to look forward to this season. Exhibit A is Giancarlo Stanton and his power and strength every time he steps up to the plate. On Tuesday, Stanton crushed Justin Verlander’s pitch well over the fence and out of the field of play.

Earlier in the game Verlander was well in control and on his way to the season’s first no-hitter. Yet, the Marlins had other plans and looks to make a comeback in the game. Stanton showed off his power against one of baseball’s best pitchers by absolutely connecting with the ball and sending the ball into the stands with more than enough distance.

It was clear the ball was on it’s way out as soon as Stanton made contact. Between the noise that was made and the way the ball was already flying in the air, there was no chance an Detroit Tigers outfielder was keeping the ball in.

The 2016 MLB season just began on Sunday. Yet, Stanton is already in mid-season form as shown by his powerful home run in front of the home crowd on Tuesday.
