The Charlotte Hornets have been one of the hottest teams in the entire NBA down the home stretch of the regular season. Though they’ve cooled off in their immediately recent games, they still look like a team that could make some serious noise in the Eastern Conference. They’ll get to gauge where they’re at in a big way on Tuesday night as they travel north to face the Toronto Raptors.

A big reason for the Hornets not being able to maintain their hot streak lately has been that one of their stars in forward Nicolas Batum has been sidelined while he deals with a knee injury. Though Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson are still there, Batum is the motor on both ends of the floor that can really propel the Hornets to the next level. For the Raptors, they seemingly have at least the second best record in the East locked up behind the efforts of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan. However, they certainly want to finish the season strong to try and gain momentum going into the postseason.
