The Philadelphia 76ers got some great news earlier this week regarding Joel Embiid, a player that was supposed to be the shining star of their tanking process. After multiple injuries and surgeries since he was drafted, Embiid was cleared for a return to basketball related activities on Monday, with only full-court full-contact scrimmaging being banned. For a team looking for some good news in another tough season it was much-needed. It also allowed Embiid to return to the public eye which is always a good thing.
Less than 24 hours after that news broke, Embiid was out on the court in Philadelphia doing some pregame work when he broke out some moves that may or may not be legal in a basketball game.

Ok, those are definitely not legal but whatever. I would assume there was a point to this that the 76ers training staff knows and I do not but knowing Embiid I am not so sure. He seems like a guy who would have fun just randomly doing air karate.
