After facing criticism for being overweight Eddie Lacy now plays basketball on a team with Dane Cook.

Many Green Bay Packers have expressed their frustration with running back Eddie Lacy due to his inability to stay in shape. Even Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has criticized Lacy for not having an efficient playing weight. It appears that Lacy has heard the haters and has decided to stay in shape. How is he doing that? By playing basketball with comedian Dane Cook.

Other notable members of the team include fellow comedian Vinny Fasline and entertainment photographer Eric Blackmon. It is undeniable that Lacy looks much slimmer in this photo than he has recently, especially this year. Props to him for staying in shape and having a ton of fun while doing so. The Packers might not be too excited that he is playing basketball, but at least he’s playing a sport with very little, if any, contact.

Eddie Lacy will look to rebound in 2016 after a rough 2015 season. He rushed for a career low 758 yards in 2015, averaging a career low 4.1 yards per carry with a career low three touchdowns. Lacy played in 15 games while starting in 12.
